Pro-Junta "Warazup" Militia Trains Recruits For Combat Roles, Myanmar

This Warazup-provided footage depicts new recruits to the militia being trained for combat roles. The Warazup militia is largely comprised of prior military and police, and although they support the Myanmar military junta, even their enemies and detractors claim that they operate in a more humane way than other Junta forces, such as the Tatmadaw. The Warazup are reported to refuse to kill POWs and do everything they can to ensure humane treatment. The Warazup troops make heavy use of drones- as do many anti-junta forces, but Warazup personnel also allegedly have access to night vision, whereas most other units on either side of this conflict do not. Initially formed as security for a town of the same name, the Warazup unit seems to have morphed into a sort of paramilitary Special Operations wing.
