Cell phone footage circulating on Social Media today captures the moment a Polish M-346 Bielik suffers from a catastrophic failure during a maneuver, causing the aircraft to collide with the Earth. The incident took place at Gdynia Air Base and resulted in the death of Polish pilot Major Robert "Killer" Jel who is known as one of the most experienced pilots in all of Poland. The training was being conducted in preparation for an upcoming airshow celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Navy Aviation Brigade.
