CCTV security cameras recorded a September 16, 2024 attack against a Israeli Border Police officer near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old Town. The attack came from behind, and the violent offender used a box cutter to stab at the cop's neck. The attacker was shot and killed on the spot, and the officer only sustained minor injuries.
