Cell phone footage from civilians living near Khan Yunis shows a massive Israeli Defense Force air strike against a Hamas meeting. It is believed that Muhammad Deif, the military commander for Hamas, along with several other ranking members of the organization were killed in the attack. There has been no official confirmation from either the IDF or Hamas about Deif being killed in the attack however, and he has survived other air strikes in the past.
