Off Duty Cop Kills Her Attacker

CCTV footage from an incident on Jan. 18, 2023 shows an off-duty Chicago police officer shooting a man that was attacking her, and the man later succumbed to his injuries and died.
According to reports and various CCTV security camera angles, the off duty cop had intervened in some sort of altercation on a sidewalk. Eventually all parties disperse but one. As she attempts to walk off, the man grabs her and a wrestling match ensues. The off duty cop warns the man that she will shoot him, and she eventually does.
