Footage reportedly recovered by Russian soldiers off of the killed and wounded Ukrainian troops shows the inside view of a vehicle driving into a deadly ambush.
The camera is rolling as the Ukrainian troops unexpectedly enter a direct fire kill zone of a prepared Russian ambush. Small arms projectiles rip through the soft skinned vehicle and the verbal recordings suggest both killed and wounded troops.
The incident reportedly took place in the vicinity of Bakhmut in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region. The exact casualty figures aren't known.
