(NSFW) Ukraine's 95th Air Assault Brigade Snipers Engage Russian Infantry

This compilation of thermal scope footage, provided by the Ukrainian 95th Air Assault Brigade, shows some of the recent successes of their snipers as they prosecute attacks on Russian troops. Viewer's discretion is advised.

Naturally, it's probably safe to assume that the portions showing the sniper setting up and aiming were done after the fact, but they do provide some insight into the camouflage and loadout. As with most sniper/designated marksman elements in Ukrainian service, the sniper(s) here are probably using UAR-10 rifles, home-grown Ukrainian cousins to the ubiquitous AR-10. Thermal imaging is quickly becoming a must-have for snipers on both sides of the conflict, the advantage it provides being immediately obvious as opposed to normal scopes.
