(NSFW) Struck Russian Leaves Arterial Blood Trail

Brutal footage shows a panic stricken Russian soldier with an arterial wound to his upper extremity leaving a massive blood trail as he sprints to the finish. The drone had just dropped an explosive munition which caused the life-threatening injury.

The man's best course of action would have been to immediately apply pressure to the injury and apply a tourniquet. Instead, he does the worst thing possible, which is elevating his heart rate by sprinting. The reality is that this man was scared and alone in the dark and likely had no idea how bad his injury was. With a bleed like that, he would have lost enough blood to fall into irreversible decompensated shock within seconds.
