Video shared to pro-Russian Telegram reportedly shows Russians inspecting Ukrainian positions near Kreminna.
The source for the video claims that this is the "O" group, sharing that 'During the advance, we managed to take the positions, take the second line of defense of the enemy. Ukrainian militants randomly retreated to a distance of up to 3 kilometers from the previously occupied lines...'
This is one of those 'contextual' videos that I talk about a lot on the live stream. The battle in the Kreminna area has been intense over the last few weeks and will continue along the Kreminna-Svatove line to be a focal point for Ukraine. Other footage shared to social media shows some level of Ukrainian combat power buildup near Kreminna, which doesn't yet appear to have materialized into any substantial gains. That being said, there is a large salient developing for Russia from Kreminna to the West, nearly to Torske, and about halfway to Lyman. Russia runs risk of envelopment if the Ukrainian counteroffensives to the South (Kuzmyne) and North West (Zhytlivka) of Kreminna gain steam. In those directions, Ukraine is only about 2 miles from Kreminna. Although some will point to localized Ukrainian gains shared on social media, the forward line of troops (FLOT) will ebb and flow on the daily.
