Drone footage from the Myron Platoon of the 3rd Assault Brigade, south of Bakhmut. Two Russian soldiers emerge from a shattered building and wander into the open, apparently having missed out on their daily ration of situational awareness. One can only assume that they are unaware of the two Ukrainian soldiers concealed less than 200 meters to the left. The two Russians walk about a bit in the open, with little effort at concealment or to move from cover to cover, and they eventually wander into the line of sight of the Ukrainian team. The Ukrainians open fire and the Russians drop, though they continue to move. The one on the right attempts to crawl away but is struck repeatedly by rifle fire and eventually stops moving. The Ukrainians continue servicing the one on the left and his body moves and jerks, and then is still. Their work done, the Ukrainian team departs without searching the bodies. With all the opportunities on a battlefield for fate and chance to snatch your life, it is foolish to tempt the gods by ignoring basic fieldcraft.
