(NSFW) Russian Recruiting Officer Shot by Civilian in Ust-llimisk

A recruiting officer for the Russian military was shot and seriously wounded in a recruiting office in Ust-llimisk, Russia by a man who's friend had been selected for Russia's partial mobilization.

The shooter, who has been identified by Russian state media as 25-year-old Ruslan Zinin, was heard saying “Nobody is going anywhere," after the recruiting officer gave a pep-talk to the men in the room who were being selected for service by the Russian military.

“I am ashamed that this is happening at a time when, on the contrary, we should be united,” the Irkutsk regional governor Igor Kobzev said in a statement on Telegram. “We must fight not against each other, but against real threats.”

The draft officer is allegedly in critical condition, and Kobzev has said that Zinin “will absolutely be punished.”
