(NSFW) PKK Kurds Ambush Syrian Militia And Advisor

This footage, provided by PKK media outlet GerilaTV, shows a Kurdish PKK squad ambushing a mix of Turkish military and militia at fairly close range, with the camera/riflemen accounting for seven KIA. Because this attack was carried out at such close and clearly visible range, viewer discretion is advised.

Only the first shown KIA is actually Turkish military- by dint of their equipment, we can extrapolate that the others shown in this ambush are probably Syrian militia of some sort, with the Turkish soldier acting as “advisor.” Turkiye/Turkey has long been backing militias in the region, with the US having supported and relied on several Kurdish factions throughout several conflicts.
