Helmet cam footage recorded by Ukrainian medics shows the reception of a wounded female soldier at a casualty collection point just off the front line.
It's not clear what caused the soldier's injuries, possibly an explosive blast. She has bruising, bleeding, and swelling across her entire face, with one significant penetrating injury on her left cheek. Luckily, she has no apparent threats to her eyesight or airway.
The medic applies an Israeli bandage to control the bleeding and keep further dirt and debris out of the injury. Although she appears stable, she will have to be closely monitored for signs of intracranial pressure, which could mean her brain is bleeding or swelling.
