Drone footage release by Ukrainian forces captures a munitions drop against a large cluster of what appears to be sleeping Russian troops near Bakhmut.
By now, Russian troops should honestly know better than to dig fighting positions without top-cover. The fact that this keep happens is a huge tell about the level of training and the cross-dissemination of combat information between units in the Russian Military.
Why are these Russians in a big group sleeping in their fighting position? Easy answer, they're cold as hell and this is one way to beat the weather. Why are they doing that without anything above them to keep them from being spotted by drones? Also an easy answer. The Russians are terrible at war and fail to adapt to simple tactics.
Courtesy of Nucking_Futs_Yuri, we now know that the Russian troops think combat ends when it's time to take a nap. They have no non-commissioned officers to make sure the guys are doing the right thing when the officers aren't looking, and not enough regular officers to ensure those unsupervised troops are doing their job even a small percentage of the time.
Russia is doomed to lose this war, not only because of poor training and a lack of equipment, but because their military is entirely corrupt and incapable of fighting a war.
