Drone footage released by the Israeli Defense Force shows a drone being used to help troops clear buildings inside of Gaza. This technique seems to be quite effective, because instead of Israeli troops having to manually clear buildings in nose-to-nose and room-to-room combat, they can just send in a drone to scout ahead looking for hiding insurgents.
It's likely that as time continues to pass, and drone technology continues to improve, we will see these devices loaded to bear with explosive warheads similar to the larger FPV drones we are seeing in Ukraine. The only difference will be that the drone will fit into your cargo pocket, and likely have just enough explosives to be deadly to an unarmored person.
