Drone reconnaissance footage recorded by the Iraqi Army in 2023 captures the moment that an Islamic State fighter has a standoff with an armored humvee during an Iraqi Army raid. The fighter, armed with an AK-47, opens fire on the vehicle and fails to get any penetration due to the vehicle's armor. In response to the attack, the driver of the vehicle simply guns the gas pedal and hits the Islamic State fighter, ending the threat posed to the vehicle crew.
