IDF Drone Spots Hamas One Floor Above Soldiers

This footage, captured by an Israeli Maoz drone, shows two Hamas fighters in a building in Khan Yunis. They are confirmed to be armed, and IDF soldiers can be seen on the level below them, clearing the building. Israeli machine gun fire takes out the militants, and a building in that neighborhood is destroyed. Viewer's discretion is advised.

Maoz is the IDF nomenclature for the Spike-Firefly loitering munition made by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. It is a newer system, having entered mainstream IDF service in Summer of 2023. In the building-to-building and floor-to-floor nature of this conflict, the IDF have provided sterling examples of how to use portable drones for room-clearing and spotting purposes.
