Interesting footage shows a Ukrainian drone harassing a pair of exposed Russian troops before detonating and inflicting serious injuries among them. One of the Russians appears to be swinging a shovel to keep the drone at bay.
Then, something curious occurs. Rather than zooming in to close proximity to detonate, the drone bursts from tens of meters away, and an obvious directional blast takes place, shooting fragments into the Russians. The targeted troops are immediately flattened by the discharge.
The explosion had a similar signature to the of a claymore mine or other directional explosive device. I'd be interested to know exactly how the loitering munition was designed.
