This bodycam footage, provided by the Pikesville Police Department, shows their officers responding to a report of a domestic disturbance with an armed suspect. The incident escalates to a barricade situation, which comes to an end when the suspect comes out of the building, pistol in his hand, after having fired it. The officers open fire, killing him. Viewer discretion is advised.
Immediately prior to this footage, the suspect, 29-year-old Sha-Kim Webley, pointed a handgun at officers who made contact with him inside the gas station. They retreated and cordoned off the area, asking bystanders to leave, as seen here.
At 0:15, Webley audibly fires a shot. Approximately 15 seconds later, he rushes out the door, weapon still in his hand. The officers barricading the entrance open fire, bringing him down. Webley did not respond to further commands to drop his weapon, prompting a team of Pikesville officers to approach using a ballistic shield (01:15), remove his pistol, and begin rendering aid. Despite their efforts, Webley was pronounced dead at an area hospital. No other persons were harmed.
