While the Afghanistan Armed Forces were forced to surrender to the Taliban, due to its incompetent leadership, such as Afghan president Ashraf Ghani who fled the country, taking hundreds of thousands of dollars with him, the Northern Alliance has started reclaiming territory which was once theirs. The footage provided reportedly shows the Northern Alliance conducting operations in the Banu district, clearing the area of any Taliban fighters. Images provided below from the Twitter page, "islamicworldupd" and "AWMUpdates_", display the provinces and districts the Northern Alliance have begun taking back from the occupied Taliban.
According to unconfirmed information, the Northern Alliance forces have recently cleared and retaken the following, Jabalussaraj, Sayed Khel, Banu, and Pul-e-Hesar districts. In addition, local resistance forces have reportedly regained three additional districts in Andarab, Baglan province.
