Poland, a full NATO member, reported the delivery of a massive convoy of ammunition to the Ukrainian military in defiance Russian President Putin's threats of "consequences you have never seen," regarding international interference in his ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO will “do what it takes” to defend all allies, including Ukraine, and “every inch of NATO territory.” In addition to the unspecified ammunition, NATO activated the NATO Response Force (NRF), for the first time ever, which will be deployed to eastern Europe to reassure allies amid Russian aggression.
During failed peace talks leading up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Putin sought the demilitarization of nearly half of NATO members, especially those in eastern Europe, and given his decision to invade Ukraine, NATO is taking no chances in further underestimating how far Putin is willing to go.
