Multiple ISIS SVBIEDs Strike Iraqi Army Position

Members of the Islamic State conduct a large series of consecutive suicide vehicle attacks against an Iraqi Army position, and use a drone to record the effects for propaganda purposes.

The Islamic State, at their peak, was known for their ability to produce propaganda showing them winning almost every fight that they were in. These propaganda videos were distributed throughout Iraq and Syria to gain support for their cause, and bolster numbers. One of the things that always blew my mind about this propaganda though, is just how much of it showed members of the Islamic State committing suicide for the cause.

I'll never understand the thought process behind the propaganda team showcasing attacks like this one at the top of their propaganda highlight reels. "Come join the Islamic State. We'll put you in a car bomb and make you blow yourself up to cause a little bit of damage to our enemies!" At the end of the day, it's a zero-sum game, and it's probably one of the largest contributing factors as to why the group ultimately met their demise.

It's hard to win battles when all of your soldiers kill themselves.
