Unverified footage reportedly out of Syria shows the moment a militant triggers a hidden explosive device which results in significant bodily injury.
While unconfirmed, it appears the man is touring a recently rubbled building, possibly conducting a battle damage assessment (BDA), examine the results of his group's artillery or airstrike operation.
The surviving enemy forces likely knew that the site would be inspected and left behind some sort of explosive booby trap. The video ends as the victim calls out to his buddy for help and gets a response.
