Marder IFV Pounds Russian Position in Kursk

A German-made Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) pounds Russian positions in Kursk. The Marder entered service with the West German Army in 1971, serving as the primary IFV in Panzergrenadiere units. Possessing welded steel armor, a 20mm rapid fire cannon, and a MILAN ATGM, and capable of transporting a team of six soldiers, the Marder served until the 2010s, when the German government began replacing them with the Puma. Thus far in the war the Bradley has acquitted itself well on the battlefield while little has been said of the Marder, but in this clip we see the effectiveness of the vehicle’s main armament.
