M113 T-Boned By Russian Fiber Optic FPV Drone

Footage out of Kursk shows Russian fiber optic FPV loitering munitions making hits against an M113 armored personnel carrier as well as a mortar system. The Russians have begun using a fly-by-wire type of fiber optic cable technology to control their fpv drones, similar to how many anti tank guided missiles (ATGM) operate. The thin wire delivers direct signal and mitigates any interference from Ukrainian jamming systems. However, the use of fiber optic cables also limits distance and maneuverability to a degree.
