A Russian UR-77 "Meteorite" demining vehicle was struck by Ukrainian fire, and after the highly volatile onboard mine clearing line charges caught fire, a massive explosion took place, resulting in catastrophic destruction of the vehicle.
After the vehicle caught fire, the Russian crew gambled with their lives be deciding to stay mounted in the ticking time bomb in an attempt to drive out of the kill zone. Once out of the line of fire from Ukrainian forces, the crew abandoned the vehicle just before the blast.
