Life Inside a Russian Turtle Tank

The crew of a Russian T-72B3 turtle tank out for a ride. Let us set aside for a moment the fact that they are cruising around in a fifty-year-old relic. With all of that crap welded to the top, they can not rotate the turret or effectively employ primary or secondary weapons. It is nice that they are trying something new, and I am sure that the Russian crew appreciates the fact that they will fight in the shade, not unlike the Spartans at Thermopylae. But if memory serves, Leonidas and his boys did not go out for gyros after Thermopylae, and I do not imagine that the crew of a turtle tank will meet a better fate than the Spartans, though few songs will be sung of their exploits.
