Leopard Growls, Russian Relics Flee

Drone footage from late May or June of a Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 engaging Russian tanks. The initial shot shows the Leopard center screen, backing up slowly as it fires on a target off screen. The perspective shifts and purportedly shows the Leopard’s target, a stationary Russian tank, which vanishes in a blast as the rounds strikes. It is possible that detonation of ERA contributed to the blast. Seconds later the Russian tank backs out of the smoke and retreats down the road. The first tank passes a second tank at the side of the road, partly concealed from the drone by the trees, and the second tank follows in trace of the first, apparently unwilling to press its luck. This footage is a rare example of a tank vs. tank engagement.
