Two gang members from Los Angeles film a short promotional video showing that they are participating in the Syrian Civil War. Both men eventually were killed in action while fighting the Free Syrian Army.
Nercis Kilajian (Wino) and Sarou Madarian (Creeper) were two Syrian Americans of Armenian descent who were deported to Syria during the early stages of the Syrian Civil War. As Syrians, they were eventually conscripted to fight for the Syrian Arab Army against the Free Syrian Army. This video, which they recorded to send back to their fellow gang members in Los Angeles, was recorded in 2014 just as the fighting in Syria started to reach its peak.
Later, both men would be seen again on camera with other Americans as the fighting in Aleppo was picking up Nercis Kilajian was believed to have been killed during the fighting in Aleppo. Later, Sarou Madarian would also be reported as KIA by the Syrian Arab Army.
