Video released by a Ukrainian media company Help the Brave captures the moment several abandoned Russian T-72s were destroyed by donated FPV drones.
For the record, we are in no way affiliated with U24, Help the Brave, or any other Ukrainian media company that is currently using content from the conflict to obtain donations from the public. We have been approached by several of these companies in the past, and have turned them down as we feel it is a breach of our integrity as writers. Should that change, we will inform you of any partnerships with these companies.
Throughout the conflict with Ukraine, we have made exactly one non-profit donation in support of Ukraine. That donation went to the Canadian Red Cross who was dollar-matching donations for humanitarian aid and support during the initial invasion and evacuation of Ukraine. That donation was just a little over $100,000 USD with funds entirely crowd funded from our community.
With the video you're watching above, you're seeing two donated drones being used to destroy several abandoned Russian T-72s. We've talked at length on why operations like this are critical for Ukrainian ground forces. The TL;DR version is that destroying the guts of a tank makes them nearly impossible to repair due to the miles of electrical wire that need to be replaced should the vehicle ever be recovered by Russian forces.
