Kaishnikov Demonstrates Brutal Effectiveness Of New Vikhr Guided Missile

Russian defense manufacturer Kalishnikov released a video demonstrating the effectiveness of their new "Vikhr" long-range anti-tank guided missile at the Russian Ministry proving ground.


The video contains spectacular air-to-ground engagements resulting in fiery explosions on target tank hulls. The missiles were launched from a Ka-52 "Alligator" attack/reconnaissance helicopter, flown by a Russian Air Force (RuAF) pilot. The Vikhr missiles are designed to destroy moving enemy ground vehicles, fortifications, and low-speed air targets.
