Ukrainian drone operators direct a JDAM against the facilities at a Russian airfield. The target is located 36 kilometers behind the front line in Kherson. It is likely that the facility was the target and not the planes – I do not imagine that biplanes are much of a threat unless the Russians have discovered a way to resurrect Baron von Richthofen. JDAMs are a capability that Ukraine acquired earlier this year, though we have not published much footage of their use. I imagine that the limited number of airframes and the overall inferiority of Ukrainian aviation provides limited opportunities for JDAM employment.
