Incredible footage released by the Sun captures the moment an Israeli Soldier named Staff Sergeant Aner Elyakim Shapiro saved the lives of seven civilians inside of a bomb shelter during the 10/7 attacks by throwing seven grenades back at attacking Hamas fighters who were trying to kill the civilians inside of the shelter.

"Aner Shapiro… saved our lives and he deserves a a medal of honor for being an angel who guarded us," said one of the survivors of the attack in the shelter. An eighth hand grenade would end up taking Shapiro's life. His great-grandfather was Haim Moshe Shapiro, a signatory of Israel’s Declaration of Independence.
