A strange and deadly incident occurred as an Israeli Iron Dome interceptor missile, that was launched to destroy a Hezbollah drone, instead struck an Israeli Defense Forces naval vessel, resulting in the death of one sailor and injured two more. It's not clear exactly what happened. Some reports are suggesting that the munition may have been tracking a drone inbound for the ship and arrived at roughly the same time.
