Intercepted Audio: American Airlines Reports UFO Over New Mexico

Both the FAA and American Airlines acknowledged a UFO (UAP) incident after a AA pilot's audio transmission was intercepted and published by a blogger on Feb. 21, 2021.

The transmission, intercepted by blogger Steve Douglass, came from the pilot of American Airlines flight 2292 as it was passing over northeast New Mexico at an altitude of 37,000 feet. The transmission is as follows:

"Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us that... I hate to say this, looked like a long, cylindrical object. It almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing, moving really fast and went right over the top of us."

The FAA released a statement on the incident, stating: “A pilot reported seeing an object over New Mexico shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. FAA air traffic controllers did not see any object in the area on their radarscopes.”

American Airlines officials also confirmed that the audio was authentic, but directed any further questions to the FBI.

Officials at New Mexico's White Sands Missile Range denied any tests were being performed at the time of the incident.
