Ridiculously massive protests have broken out all across Brazil in support of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro who has repeatedly accused Brazil's Supreme Court of corruption and claimed the country's electronic voting system is susceptible to fraud and should be backed by tangible, verifiable paper receipts.
Some of the protestors are calling for an all-out military coup to dissolve the senate and supreme court. The likelihood of an actual coup isn't clear, but military police officers are taking part in the demonstrations in support of the president, although there is a ban on such activities for Brazilian service members.
Various media outlets including CNN are describing the protests as "far right-wing" and likening the demonstrations to the Jan. 6, 2021 pro Trump protests that entered the US Capitol building, which is indicative of the political dynamics regarding the situation.
