Troops on a convoy operation are struck by an improvised explosive device. The MRAP takes the brunt of the damage, protecting the troops inside, but flips over as a result.
The MRAP was an absolute game changer during the Global War on Terror. Up armored humvees were simply not up to the task of protecting the troops inside of them due to their weak bellies, and their low ground clearance. The MRAP however, was tailor-made specifically to combat the IED threat.
Unfortunately, due to the overall height and ground clearance of the MRAP, it is very vulnerable to flipping over onto its side. While that is what happens in this video, it's worth noting that the MRAP did manage to protect all of the troops inside.
