Footage posted to Telegram by Russian sources shows video that was released by the driver of a Russian Shed Tank. It shows how the driver of the vehicle is able to maintain visual and situational awareness through the use of a small screen in the driver's hatch.
According to the driver of the vehicle, even though he can still see out of the viewport that is normally used for driving the vehicle, his view is partially obstructed by the additional armor. Due to that, they've mounted cameras around the tank at several places so that he can have an unobstructed view of what's in front of him. The driver also stated that the vehicle is less prone to hitting unburied mines because the camera gives him a better view of what's directly on the ground in front of his tank as he drives it.
