Footage from the Ukrainian 3rd Assault Brigade reportedly shows a HIMARS guided multiple launch rocket system (GMLRS) strike on a partially rubbled building being used by Russian forces as a command post.
Unlike proximity (air burst) GMLRS strikes on troops in the open or light armored vehicles, the HIMARS crew used a point detonating, or possibly even delayed, fuse setting so the warhead impacts and penetrates the hard cover before detonating.
