Highly Trained Special Operations Insurgents Destroy Entire Syrian Army

Elite special operations insurgents with the Free Syrian Army conduct a daring operation to suppress and destroy the entire Syrian Arab Army in a historic twenty second video.

For the purpose of context, this video was filmed in Deir ez-Zor at the onset of the Syrian Civil War in 2012. The fighters in the video are members of the Free Syrian Army.

Now that we have the context out of the way, I want to talk about the technique used above. First coined by the military of Mali, it is a rare technique that has since been listed in a number of field combat manuals. The technique itself is called "I am become cover." In order to effectively utilize the technique, you must have at least one belt fed weapon system and two fully semi-automatic rifles with shoulder things that go up. Under normal circumstances, that means this technique requires at least three Soldiers, however this video proves to us that the Free Syrian Army is simply built different.

Here, we can see the "I am become cover," technique being achieved by just two members of the FSA. This is a clear indicator that these men were trained by elite American or British operators either from Delta Force or the SAS. More than likely, we're witnessing two Special Operations troops from the Free Syrian Army in this video, and this was probably the last day the Syrian Arab Army had troops in Deir ez-Zor.

For those of you who can't read sarcasm, those two paragraphs were a joke. Please go re-read the first sentence for context and go watch one of the several other thousand videos we have on the webpage. Also, lighten up.
