Helmet Cam: Ukrainian Records Chaos and Casualties in Gunfight with Russians

A singular firefight recorded from the perspective of a Ukrainian Soldier shows the absolute chaos of the engagement between the two professional military forces.

This video is absolute chaos. I'm not going to sit here and try to pretend like I know exactly what's happening. The video has been cut at multiple points, and it's entirely unknown where this footage was recorded. To make the footage even more confusing, on top of the random cuts and random points in the video, the original location had the music placed over the video to make things even more disorienting.

What's more impressive is how people have turned this single piece of video into a massive argument piece over which side is winning the war. The problem is, this footage doesn't prove either side is winning or losing the conflict. It's a single engagement cut up into a bunch of pieces. The Ukrainians fire javelins and shoot at some Russians and they take return fire. The Ukrainians have casualties and are pushed back to a new position through the use of their still in-tact armor.

How this video can prove either side of the conflict is doing anything other than fighting is beyond me. This is what war looks like, it's controlled chaos and maximum violence. You don't get any sort of big picture conclusions out of this video.
