Security camera footage from a liquor store in Norco, east of Los Angeles, shows an elderly store owner quickly end an attempted armed robbery by firing a round of buckshot into one of the criminals.
According to the report and accompanying footage, four men attempted to rob the store, and the first suspect can be seen aggressively entering the business while pointing a modern sporting rifle at the 80-year-old owner. The owner immediately grabs his shotgun, takes aim, and fires... hitting the suspect and forcing him to flee.
As the suspect runs away, he can be heard screaming, "He shot my arm off!"
The wounded suspect and his three accomplices were later arrested at a local hospital. They were allegedly driving a stolen vehicle and had multiple stolen firearms in their possession.
The store owner reportedly suffered a heart attack shortly after the incident and has been hospitalized.
