Hamas Blasts Merkava Tank At Close Range

Footage released by Hamas shows the targeting of an Israeli Merkava tank in Gaza. The Hamas uploaders claim the tank was destroyed, however, it's just as likely that much of that explosion was a result of the Merkava's on board active protection system, which would also explain why no aftermath footage was uploaded. We have seen multiple videos of Hamas falsely claiming to destroy IDF tanks in which the active protection system intercepted and destroyed the munition. However, this incident will remain inconclusive based on the limited footage provided.
