The sounds of gunfire echo through Kyiv as night falls. Some are calling it the beginning of the Battle of Kyiv, and from this angle it definitely sounds like a battle has truly begun.
At this time, the footage coming out of Kyiv is sparse. This footage was recorded by a civilian living in an upper-level apartment located towards the city center in Kyiv. We will continue to update you on the situation in Kyiv as updates become available. We are also going to be doing our best to help the Ukrainian military maintain operational security, so some footage that we come across you may not see until later down the road.
