GoPro footage filmed from the inside of a Ukrainian Mi-8 shows what it's like to be inside of the cockpit during an attack run against Russian forces. It's unclear when and where this footage was filmed, however the video itself was just recently released.
It's important to note that attack runs like this are conducted based off of maximum range estimation and aircraft heading. The rockets being fired are not guided systems at all, and the pilots are making snap decisions with predetermined coordinates to attempt to hit enemy positions. This style of attack is being conducted on both sides due to the heavy threat of MANPAD systems that are capable of bringing the helicopters down.
