More footage is coming from the al Qaeda affiliate Jama'a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM) ambush against a Russian Wagner PMC patrol in the northern African nation of Mali.

The deadly ambush against Russian Wagner mercenaries inflicted a reported 80 casualties, many of which were Wagner military contractors. Additionally, multiple MRAPs were destroyed and an Mi-24 attack helicopter was reportedly shot down in the incident as well.

Interestingly, the man wearing blue in the video is reportedly Sidan Ag-Hitta, the emir or senior leader of JNIM.
