First Recorded Challenger 2 Tank Loss In Ukraine

Footage from the Zaporizhzhia front appears to show a Challenger 2 tank burning among other destroyed Ukrainian armor vehicles including a Soviet-era tank and an undetermined armored personnel carrier.

The footage was reportedly recorded near Robotyne, where Ukraine has made significant but costly territorial gains. The date of the footage isn't known. If confirmed, this would be the first recorded battlefield loss of a Challenger 2 tank in Ukraine. The British delivered 14 of the formidable heavy tanks to Ukraine.

The video was recorded by Ukrainian troops driving through the area and coming under artillery attack, which suggests the armored convoy may have been crippled by preplanned artillery fires on that specific location.
