First Footage of Ground Combat Operations in Lebanon

Relatively mundane footage released by the Israeli Defense Force shows some of the first footage of ground combat operations being conducted by IDF troops in Lebanon. Scenes include troops moving at night, under night vision, as well as a movement to contact patrol being carried out in Lebanon. While this footage seems insignificant, due to the lack of kinetic activity recorded, it marks a new overt phase of combat operations in Southern Lebanon by Israeli Forces. Being a more professional and organized military, it's less likely that we'll see loads of individually recorded pieces of combat footage coming out of operations in Lebanon. Israel has a history of heavily controlling the video content released by their troops. While their troops do frequently wear shoulder and helmet mounted cameras into combat, those cameras, and the video they capture, are generally controlled by Israeli public affairs troops.
