Extreme Recovery - Leopard 2 Rescues Damaged T-72

Drone footage released by Ukrainian sources conducting combat operations in what is likely the Kursk region of Russia shows a daring combat recovery. The Leopard 2 seen in this video has connected itself to a damaged Ukrainian T-72A, and is towing it through an active Russian artillery strike in an attempt to recover the vehicle so it can be returned to service at a later date. This video is yet another example of why it's imperative that, even when abandoning a vehicle, hatches need to get closed in order to maintain the integrity of the vehicle's armor. Had the hatch on this disabled vehicle been left open, it would have exposed the armor to precision FPV drone attacks, and likely would have made the recovery efforts fruitless.
