This footage shows the immediate aftermath of a Ukrainian drone strike on an ammunition storage facility in Toropets, Tyver Oblast- and no, despite the mushroom cloud, this was not a nuclear detonation. It takes roughly seven seconds from the start of the video for the sound of the explosion to reach the camera, and that's not even including when the explosion actually started. For the sound to take that long to be heard indicates that despite being a rough two miles away, this is one hell of an explosion. Apart from the main show, secondary detonations can be seen to the left and right. Given the noise and the mushroom cloud, it would be forgivable for someone who doesn't have any comparative knowledge to think this was nuclear. Thankfully, there was no music or audio plastered over this, as destruction like this should stand on its own merit- a vivid picture of what war is, but I found "For Whom The Bell Tolls" on my mind, much like Oppenheimer's "now I am become Death."
